OptiMate® OM9001

The OM9001 Communications Master
provides an intelligent interface between Programmable Logic
Controllers (PLCs) and a set of OptiMate® modules. The OM9001
communicates serially to the PLC, transferring register data
in both directions. Up to 31 OptiMate® modules, provided they
are 1000 series or 600 series, can be connected to the OM9001
for transparent operation with the PLC. |

With the OM9001 Communications Master, the OptiMate®
series provides the means to construct large custom panels with
standard building block modules. OptiMate® modules can be grouped
together or separated by up to 4000 feet. Any combination of operator
panels can be incorporated into a system.
The OM 9001 communication master can transfer register
data between a PLC and up to 31 OptiMate® 600 or 1000 series modules.
All registers must be within a 1000 register range. Communications
with the OptiMate® modules is over RS422 communications.
